Killing Bohdi

I cannot kill this little B****. I have sent four fire elementals at her and she treats them like a mild case of dandruff. I cannot find this Dritz guy, who is supposed to help. I want her dead and I can't even give her as much as a hangnail.

Click on the "Ironworks Gaming" button up top and post this thread in the Baldurs Gate II forum rather than General Discussions.

You cant kill bohdi just yet, not until after you return from the underdark. Drizzt will join you then (cant miss him).

What you need to do is beat up on her enough to make her withdraw. Do *NOT* use a prot from undead scroll in this fight, it screws up the scripting (She just wont die, until it wears off. Other than that, she shoudnt be that tough. Search the SoA forum for more specific tactics, and post your party details if you want more specific advice.

I also remember using a lot of air elementals to take out some of her HPs before I went in for the kill. The air elementals she can't see at first, so they get a few shots in before she kills them, after sending in about three our four (one at a time) she's easy peasy at that point [img]smile.gif[/img]

Amulet of Power, protects against Bodhi's or any other vampire's deadly level drain attacks. Doesn't work if you're playing a fighter though, never figured out why... but I drift. If that doesn't work, focus all your party members and creatures and her all at once while your allies hold off the other vampires, she should fall in time. Hope this helps.

I suppose you could always cast negative plane protection on your summoned elementals then send them on ahead of your party...

Fighters cannot wear the Amulet of Power because it's such a "wizardly" item that only those classes capable of casting spells can even begin to comprehand how it works, and thus benefit from its enchantments.

Negative Plane Protection (from the spell) is next to useless, as it wears off almost before you can even kill anything. They should offer an extended NPP, where the duration is 3 rounds + 1 round/caster level, instead of just a flat 4 rounds.
