I know this question has been asked before...but I'm trying to decide on siding with Bodhi or the Shadow Thieves. I'm playing an assassin. I've already defeated Mae'var and accepted the role of Guildmaster. Now Bodhi has made an offer for me to join her.

Which should I do? As the guildmaster, I feel I have an obligation of loyalty to the Shadow Thieves. As a neutral evil assassin who is concerned with himself first and everyone else second, I am really interested in having Valen join the party.

So what would happen if I chose Bodhi over the Shadow Thieves? Will I return to find my new guildmembers waiting to ambush me...or will they obey me and aid me in my fight against their former allies?

Please feel free to spoil me. My mind is 75% made up...and I will most likely follow that course of action. But I would like to hear the opinions of those who have actually followed this route. Thanks.

Of course you may want to SaveGame and try both Especially as an evil, you can throw allegiances out the window if you feel like it, why not...

FYI if you do take Bodhi's side, the shadow thieves WILL go after you on sight, so it can be tricky going to the Docks area. I'm not too experienced, but I think it's harder to play it this way. The upside is that the vampires don't go after you in Athkatla anymore, I *think* (I just took Bodhi's side myself, but I'm still in chapter 3).

PS oh yea - if you go with Bodhi, I don't think you're going to make any more money on your Guild

Thanks Mahlennacht, that's about what I figured would happen. I had considered Saving the game and trying to side with Bodhi )just to see what would happen), but I've already given my guildmembers their first assignments..so I really don't want to screw that up.

Thanks for confirming my suspicions.

Well, no biggie, you can have the 'interview with the vampire' next time , whatever your character's class. Hope you make some decent money on the Guild - I collected a fair amount over the course of the game

Funny that the THIEF stronghold actually puts you in a WORKPLACE to earn your money

Hmmm, that's odd. I thought thieves couldn't side with Bodhi?

That's the same questin I had, pcgiant. My guess - which has been supported by the answers here - is that you are pretty well screwed as Guildmaster...since your new subordinates will now attack you on sight.

Theif or not it is much easier to side with Bodhi. The theives are easy to kill and cant drain you and they only attack u once out side of the guildhouse not every time u come and the battle is easy trust me. I always sign with bodhi for ease!
