ive just have the feeling that I don't want to play baldurs gate II anymore
got to much time on my hands but i never play BG II anymore (now about 4 or 5 days ago when I last touched its cds )

maybe it is this forum.... or do all you guys sometime have like '' no way i'm not playing it for a week or so... '' I just have that feeling right now..

okay i'll get to the point:

Do you guys also have the feeling sometimes you can't stand SoA and just have to ''Cold Turkey'' and just don't play the game for a week or so?

Or am I just a REAL strange dutchie?

[edit] when I say ''this forum'' I mean that I spend to much time on it... not that it sux or whatsoever...

I have one like that right now. I was going trough the game with my new solo sorcerer. I got as far as the Darnisee keep when I got bored of rest each time I had killed a few spirit trolls...so well now im into neverwinter nights. When I have finished neverwinter nights I dont see any hope for my solo sorcerer as im playing sorcerer in NWN as well So I'll have a go with my evil party then...

Just play another game for a while and you will probably go back to the game again.
First time I finished it I didnt touch the cds again for about two years(I wanted to but I didnt have enough space) Got da new comp and I started to play again
So my conclusion is that only time can make you want to play the game again. How much time however is up to you. It can take days, weeks, years, decades...
But at some point youll think...damn I wanna go trough that game again just one more time Thats always how I end up

All Dutchies are strange, nothing new there.

And exactly how many times have you played SoA ? I can imagine when you finished it 4 or 5 times, you'll get a bit fed up with it. Maybe you should try some other game for a change ? Or don't play at all for a while, that works too.

I haven't played SoA for at least 4 months now. I don't even have the game installed on my harddrive at the moment. But to tell you the truth, it starts itching a little again. I just might start a new game one of these days. And then i'll probably enjoy it just as much as i did the first time.

It's a perfectly natural phenomena. There is no such computer game (yet) that could be played forever without getting bored. If someone claims different, then he has a problem, because he is ADDICTED and that addiction can have a serious impact on someone's real life. (That one comes from my personal experience).
Only really good games have that special charm that makes you come back to them and play them again.

I'm playing CS (counter-strike) at the moment but that is losing his grip on me also so.... pretty soon I will visit my PC Gamers store for some fresh new titles... anybody that can recommend a new game that is worth taking...?

or maybe i'll just install Fallout: Tactics again, also a pretty nice time consuming game.
