evil game

I'd like to make a game as an evil character but it seems to me not being really possible.
I mean a lot of quests requires to make the choice a good character would do to gain XP, gold ...

An another question: if i plan to have both evil and good NPCs what alignement should i go for? I took neutral srict, is it a mistake?
For example i have Keldorn and Viconia and they dont apreciate each other at all. Is it really possible to keep them both in my party?

im evil... so i helped the windspear guy then betrayed him to firkraag, then betrayed firkraag.

i did do nalias keep i mean im evil , but im also a mercenary i was on a contract , hey 50 000 gold is 50 000 gold.

i did trademeet for the same reason, i mean im not chaotic evil,im not a lunatic. theres no profit to be made in helping that pathetic shadow druid whos only meaning in life is to die by my hand (hehe barrowed that one). hah her pathetic plans of overruning trademeet mean nothing to me.i chrushed her...like i chrush all that dare stand in my path. they made me their hero,,, now i have a save haven

i gave the noble fammily corpse to one of the fammilies in trademeet tho, it amused me watching them fight amongst eachother knowing they were of the same origin... the same ancestors, one fammily.
it amused me even more watching them die by their own guards.
who were submitted to my will, offcourse

that annoyingass whiney paladin in the graveyard... i found him an orphan to adopt as his new child, my eyes went all sparkly when i saw the joy on his face. his life had purpose again !!!!.... then i disintegrated the child
as for the paladin?
oh he makes a nice addition to the graveyard statues. i come to see it sometimes... i do so enjoy a work of art.

in the drow city.... i needed a disguise for the drow city so i agreed to help that goodie goodie cocky dragon.
i let solaufein live....what can i say? i liked the guy.
kid has spirit i also let the swirfneblin live that i was supposed to kill.. nice lil fellas i was lookin forever for a finger of death spell untill i reached their humble lil place... always stop to say hi when im in the neighbourhood

had some hot steamin sex with that hot number phaere .....i do so enjoy making viconia jaelous. and i loved playing them all for fools.
gave the matron mother fake eggs, gave phaere fake eggs...
phaere looked so sexy thinkin she'd won.
gosh that phaere ,, il miss that gal.

You can do the good quests just keep an eye on your rep. If your rep is to high you can just kill a beggar or something. Also as eternal stated, be creative when doing quests. Youre evil remember and you will only do stuff that you want to do yourself. You dont take orders from anybody and you are able to come up with some devilish plans at times.
Some quests trough the game also has an evil side of doing it so yes it is possible.

Oh and you shouldnt mix up good and evil NPC's unless you have the happy group script installed. Even if youre true neutral and have good and evil aligned partymembers, in the end they will leave the party or even worse kill eachother.
Go for an evil alignment. For NPC's I reccomend Edwin, Korgan, Viciona and Valen

Wow.....his very first post and he's asking for good advice for an Evil game! I'm quite touched, actually. If I weren't an undead Dracolich, it would have brought a tear to my eye.

As Eternal mentioned, the Naughty Boy threads have won popular and critical acclaim for their innovative techniques and unsuprassed dastardliness in the line of roleplaying pure Evil. You see, I normally play Good characters, but I decided that before I put BG1 away for good, I would play 1 Evil game. And, since I'd been storing up ideas for a long time, they all came out in a single game, resulting in the "I'm a Naughty Boy!" thread. Later on, that same character terrorized BG2, whence came "I'm STILL a Naughty Boy!" If you do a search for those titles, you will get the results you seek--but don't seek them. First, you should play your own Evil game, and see the types of wickedness that you've been surpressing.

My tips:
1) Be Neutral Evil. Sure, Chaotic Evil is arguably as Evil as you can get, but the Chaotic part means you usually can't plan too far ahead, and prevents you from entering into contracts that could really benefit you in the long term. On the flip side, being Lawful Evil means you can't take some sucker for everything he's got, and then betray him. No, Neutral Evil is clearly the way to go--squeeze 'em until there's nothing left to squeeze, and go for whatever brings you the richest rewards.
2) Don't worry about your Reputation being nice & high. While it is true that your Evil party members will hate you if you go above 17 Rep, there's no real harm in hovering around 15 or 16. If you're Neutral Evil, where's the roleplaying harm into fooling the populace into thinking that you're a great guy, and hailing you as a hero? It means more money for you, and it'll make it so much more satisfying when you slaughter all of their children.
3) The rule about not mixing Good and Evil NPCs is only a general rule. There are some NPCs that don't get along with certain others, and in those cases, one is always Good, and the other one is (almost) always Evil. But it takes a long time for actual hostilities to erupt, so you can easily do the Good guy's quest, suck up the reward for it, then strip them of their gear and abandon them in the middle of nowhere, with only 1 hitpoint.
4) Be creative. I don't know if you read Eternal's spoiler, but his story of the Paladin in the Graveyard is a perfect example of how Evil things can/should be done.

there are plenty of nuetral charaters too.

Cernd-druid shapeshifter. I recommend the ease of use mod if your going to use him, shapeshifters tend to be under powered otherwise. He tends to be much more neutral than jahiera who is only nuetral because of class restrictions really she's more nuetral good.

Jahiera-she might not like you but she'll stick with you. fighter/druid makes a good backup tank

Jan Jansen-crazy little gnome, best thief in the game for reasons i won't get into but he is multi classed thief/mage, he's chaotic nuetral

Yoshimo-nuetral bounty hunter, good story but i don't want to spoil.

Anomen-starts lawful nuetral, you can decide what happens to him. he either becomes good, or i'm not sure maybe evil. let's just say it's not hard to figure out.

haer'daelis-chaotic nuetral bard. can dual wield, really not the best bard, but is nuetral and can work as a backup mage and do some thieving duties.

there's one more person you can get to go w/ your evil party but you need tob.

For the first post being good, in fact thats not my fisrt time with soa i played for 2 years and one week ago i wanted to do a new game but to change a little as a devil character (and i must say that the NPCs i like most are the devil one).

Well, I did my own evil game, but, I went beyond evil and became a mass murderer. My rep was a 1 most of the time. I had a Neutral Evil Halfling, a Stormlord of Talos. It was only him and VIccy, and, everybody was glad to see them go. I can't remember exact numbers, but, he had over 2000 kills to his name in the end.

In the end, he killed pretty much everybody in Athkatla. Over time, he did disgusting things, things like; Going hunting for beggars. They ask for coin, they get a mace in the skull. Hunting for fat folks. Talos was not appeased, so, I went around killing anything that walked, crawled, slithered, or breathed. I got tired of Paladins ambushing me every step of the way, so, I went to the Order of the Most Radiant Heart and formally lodged a complaint. Let's just say I painted the walls of the place with a gruesome shade of red. Viccy once asked me what I would do if I found another one of Bhaal's children. My reply "Kill them!" So when I found out my sister really was my sister, she got a one way ticket on a one way ride. When I found a Holy Avenger after killing a certain dragon, I never wanted a sword like that being used against me. Hmm... Did I sacrifice it at the troll altar in the asylum or did I sacrifice it to Demogorgon? I dunno, but, it's gone for good. I did not sleep with the Drow slut. I might of been evil, but, I was madly in love with Viccy. Evil people have feelings too. I was very protective of Viccy. When a certain commoner in the Promanade made dispairaging remarks about the most vile race of elves, I made a fresh batch of brain jelly from him. I gated in pit fiends when ever I got the chance. I once gated in a pit fiend in the Temple of Ilmater, you know, the one filled with all those sniveling children. Just about the only folks I did not kill was other Halflings. I avoided killing them. My race has been surpressed by the tall folk far to long, it was time for some respect and liberation. I gave them an example of Halfling strength. I gave them a hero.

My evil knew no bounds.

I didnt mean it that way. I meant that if youre concerned of having a high reputation, its pretty damn easy to get it down again. Killing a noble will drop your rep by 8 or something I think. So rep should never be a problem.
I didnt mean you to play that way. The thing about going evil is that you are free to do whatever you want to do. So if youre a little creative just like eternal over here, you should have no problem enjoying yourself going evil.
