Underdark Mindflayer lair (spoilers)

Bah - it's pissing me off. I have the Eyestalk and Kuo-Toa blood, so no need for it, except for a certain hilt.

But, I've had the darnedest time. First, the Ogre never showed up to have me fight the Githyanki - I waited and even SLEPT. Reload #1.

Now, I kill three Mindflayers (one in room with vials, 2 on the way to the slave room where you get the circlets) and then there are none to charm into opening the necessary doors. WTF am I doing wrong? I don't see how to avoid killing the 3 I kill, since I have to bypass them in order to get the control circlets.

Am I bugged? Am I missing something??

There is one mind flayer that continuously spawns, after a set period of time.

Important note: do *not* use the control circlets on Ularithids,.. only controlled mind flayers open the doors !!

The mind flayer that continuously spawns does so in the room where you get the sulphurous fluid.

P.s. Changing into the slayer allows you to open the doors too
