I unstoned Branwen when i arrived in Naskell and went to fight the bounty hunter in the inn. I used her magic hammer for this. Then i went to the temple and dropped her off. The only problem was she was still using her magic hammer. When i picked her back up she wouldn't stop using it! I even killed her but it will not go away. HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!

This is a weird one, it could even be used as a cheat (in BG2 there are some good magical weapons, it might be interesting having them forever). anyway, i think you´ll have to cheat to remove it, try gatekeeper to change her current weapon, or hex-edit it.

Isn't it a blessing and a 'curse'? So maybe using Remove Curse spell will help...I am not sure.

Sure sounds like a bug to me!

Remove curse works only when the description of the item explicitly states that it is indeed cursed. This is almost certainly a bug.

Of course its a bug, but this remove curse thing has given me an idea. magical weapons normally can be dispelled, have you tried it ? Id recommend buying a dipell in the temples` services rather than using a dispell yourself.

Maybe you didnt wait long enought? When I use magic hammer I have to wait a few hours of game time to get rid of it. When you dropped her and took her back I think you will always get her in exacttly the same state you dropped her. When I dropped anybody and got him back - after days (game time) he/she was exacttly in the same state: HP, remembered spells etc.
