Uncommon proficiency-swashy

Hello. Im looking for help in selecting proficiencies for my swashy. However, I do not want to use the common weapons (Crom Faer, Flail of Ages, Celestial Fury..) Any suggestions?

P.S. Would halberd be good for the end of the game? The Ravager is sick...

Ummmm, keep in mind that a swashbuckler, being a thief kit, can't be proficient with flails, hammers, or halberds (although they can certainly use them when they get their HLAs).

Yes, I was implying that I would obtain UAI.

OK, but to my knowledge even UAI will not allow you proficiency in a weapon, which is what you were asking for suggestions; it merely allows you to use the weapon non-proficiently.

Anyway, you might consider taking scimitars and clubs. Usuno's Blade is a +4 wazikashi that is available in the first level of WK and thus is achievable early. You can also get Belm for the off hand and Blackblood and/or Gnasher for when you need to kill clay golems. Later, if you have Weimer's "Item Upgrade" mod, you can combine the two clubs into one nasty +5 weapon.
