Im the HERO of Trademeey now. I've finished the druids. Then this came along..
Im kinda confused with these Minscs and Jans. In my last game, I gave the mantle to the mayor. All i wanna know is which side should i..side..myself with?

Luraxxol, Alibakkar or none?

It doesn`t matter who you side with.
I would recomend taking the mantle to the family rather than the mayor, though... if you do it, you`ll see why.

He just said he already did that in his previous game, so I suppose he knows what'll happen.
Anyways, like Lennon said, it doesn't really matter who you're going to side with. They're both bad for your reputation, either way.

One thing to note is that if you DO side with one of the families the following battle results in you looting a suit of elven chainmail useful for Haer'dalis until you get the melodic chain or Jan until you get Bladesinger Chainmail so if you have either of those characters you might want to consider giving the mantle to one of the families. It won't matter which you give it to.

Is there an actual reputation loss for giving the crown to one of the families? Or were you referring to the fact you would lose out on the 1 point of reputation the Mayor gives you?

Well, giving it to a family is the evil way, regardless of whether you lose rep, because you don't gain it when you have the potential to. It is funny to watch them all kill each other though.........

Does the family usually take it from you when you enter their house, because I had it, I went to a families house, got paid, then suddenly comes the other house and they start fighting, with none of them taking it nor would the Mayor take it either... So were they supposed to take it or do I have no need of it now?
