i don't know if this is ever going to change, but in a game as vast and extensive as BG, why isn't there more put into the end of the game? Is it because by the time the playable parts of the game are complete, the programmers are just burned out? Anyhow I'm a little dissapointed, and hoping they add some dialogue along with the FMV segeuence at the end of BG2.

I'm just back in BG and found out about the doppleganger/assassin plot near teh palace. I assume I'm relatively close to the end of the game...

Are you planning to play ToSC next, or are you going straight to SoA? Just curious. If I'm this close to the end of the game, I need to decide I guess.

i actually played thru to chapter 6 or 7 and then went through totsc when the game glitched on me. I don't see any reason to play totsc except for the challenge.

Lemme tell ya play the game over, Solo! you find everything much more fun and interactive in a Roleplay sense.

Yes I agree the end is kind of bland, but thats why you get DARK SIDE OF THE SWORD COAST! Changes a lot, and with TOTSC the game gets pretty sweet.

the reason they didnt do some kind of epic ending is because they had to leave it open for a sequel. and if your looking for more of a challenge, try a different class, or try to solo it, or something!

It's simple. Once the Planet is hurt, it gathers Spirit Energy to heal the injury. The amount of energy gathered depends on the size of the injury...What would happen if there was an injury that threatened the very life of the Planet? Think how much energy would be gathered! Ha, ha, ha. And at the center of that injury, wil be me. All that boundless energy will be mine. By merging with the energy of the Planet, I will be come a new life form, a new existence. Melding with the Planet, I will cease to exist as I am now. Only to be reborn as a 'God' to rule over every living soul.
