If anybody has any clue what do to help me
I went to the second level of Durlags Tower. Used statue on the left hand to open doors on W (training room) and killed Shapeshifter. Used statue on the right hand to open doors on E (with wardstones), after taking first wardstone from the table shapeshifter appeared - and died. In the mean time doors on W get closed. When I get and put back one of the wardstones (belonging to F.. I think) doors on W opens or close. I can not open door on N nor this E in the room with wardstones.

Well im kinda lost with all that you said, sorry , but i believe this is the order to do the things:
SPOILER

- First go to the south as you did, enter training room. Open the S-E room (the bedroom, i cant remember if its opened using the statues or the dummies), and pick the 3 colored wardstones that should be there. Then, hitting the dummies, the door to the north should open (the throneroom). Pick the wardstone and things will sort out i think. Anyway, i think that something could be done,. though ive never tried this... BEFORE picking the wardstone in the throne room, try hitting the dummies to see if the door to the S-E opens, there is a switch room there with a switch for EVERY door in the level, its a good idea to keep a character there just in case you get stuck anywhere, that will save you.

Luck, keep us informed please !

Thanks for answer. I managed it anyway.
SPOILER

To get to switching room you have to open doors on N. Islenne wardstone does not open any door - I think. I managed to open doors on N just hitting training-guy in the middle. Two other wardstones re-open doors on W and E (got closed by faked dwarves). I took wardstones of Kiel and F... In switching room set all switches and had no problems later. When I went to sell goods and return doors on N, E, W (at the entrance) were closed but I could use statues, reopen training room, and use training guys (in the middle and on the rigth) to re-open N and E doors.
Anyway i went to 3rd level, but left some answered questions: Where leeds trapped staircaise (south of map near entarnce to the level3?) it seems to me that nowhere - I appeared in the same place, I couldnt find any use for goblet nor talk to dwarves near the exit to level3 (guarding some kind of tomb?). I hope I will return or use it later.
Another problem: I find scrolls I (warrior/mage) and Dynaheir cant memorize nor cast/ put to handy-items slot. For example: Protection from ligthning, Chaos command.
Is it just a bait for BG2?

- Yeah, the trapped stairs are just trapped fake stairs . They lead to nowhere.
- The dwarves are indeed guarding that "tomb"... try to get the items in the chest and youŽll find it for yourself (warning: battle isnt too easy)
- Those scrolls are priest/druid scrolls, mages canŽt memorize them, nor clerics or druids because they learn they are granted spells when they level up, so these scrolls are just to use them as quick-items.

Final advice for Durlags Tower turists!

Make shopping before entering second level!
I had to buy potions of perception later and had a lot of problems. I opened all doors at the second level took all wardstones went up and returned - everything OK. I went outside (I had some supplies at the ground floor) I returned - and everythink closed (80% of attempts I couldnt open anything except first 3 rooms - that rooms get opened using Kiels and F.. wardstones, figures and training guys, sometimes I got message that 2 doors were opened but I havent seen this second one). I went shopping and everytning closed (90%). In some cases - some doors (left from thone room (N), or rigth of bedroom (E)) were opened - this is the only chance to proceed to level 3 - but I think I got it randomly (I saved at level 2, went shopping, retuned and something was opened or all closed - I made about 20 attempts and succeed in 3 only, the success didnt depend on me - the key door were opened when I entered second level). Anyway the access to switching room in all cases was impossible - I think that this doors get opened only when you pick up Kiels helmet!
I havent tried to reverse all operations - I mean put all wardstones at their original positions - maybe this would help? Anyway, better do shopping before second level!

Apologies for resurecting an old thread but I'd just like to take this query abit further. How do you enter level 3 of Durlags? I've managed to get the level 2 exit wardstone but haven't found any exit to this level? Where is it? Is it the door by the fake steps? And if so, how do I open it? I think I've tried every door switch in the switchroom, but perhaps I missed one?

In the room with fakd-trapped staircase there are doors to the room with real staircase (on S) - turn on detecting traps and/or stand near South wall and they will reveal (they are hidden).

I had no problems - just clicked and got them opened. (It had red borders - SE I think from the trapped staircaise). Maybe some wardstones are needed.
