ok I got the sphere, and have the keep ready to take over as soon as i finish with the sphere stronghold quests, my problem is that whenever I talk to a shopkeeper (priest of Ilmater, Diedre, Joluv, Ribald, etc.) I get a "xxx cannot initiate dialogue, xxx is busy" error, i got it with two of the solomnic knights in the sphere before it became my stronghold, once i got it the problem fixed itself... is there a way to correct this, I have ToB installed, along with shadowkeeper, but i got the error before i used shadowkeeper...
I appreciate any help you can give.

The "xxx appears busy cannot intiate dialog" bug is common to those who have windows xp installed, so do you have it installed? If yes download the offical patch from bioware as it fixes this bug. Sorry I can't provide a link but check the "All newcomers read this thread" thread for a link to the offical patch.

I'm running windows 2k (I made the character when I was running the winME upgrade from 98, but due to some MAJOR problems and my general dislike for the windows 9x operating system i switched to 2k, I'll get the patch and see if it works (I got the baldurdash fixpacks, but I don't think I got the official patch)

Very common bug. As already suggested, first get the Official Patch, and then re-install the Baldurdash Fixpack.
