For some reason I am partial to Fireball and that other explosion which is like Fireball but centered on you and doesn't hurt you... maybe its because I'm a pyro... Oh well.

sequencer with magic missiles

Really good for doing the finishing touches on say a dragon for instance. If you have 3 mages in your party that would be 6 magic missles hitting a target at once.

Hold Undead is another spell that I like even though its usefulness is limited, it seems to last for ever and is good when dealing with several vampires or head vampires at once.

No problem, Alson.

As for Magic Missile bombardment... try storing 3 Magic Missiles in a Chain Contingency( yes, I am mad, I know) and 3 Magic Missiles in a Spell Sequencer. Do this for a party of six Mages.

(3 + 3) * 6 = 36 Magic Missiles, or 180 red magical balls of fun.

I have always been partial to Melf's minute meteors. I love the "burn" graphic that accompanies each hit! With 2 or 3 party members hurling MMMs you can make quick work of many powerful foes! My .02 anyway
