I never cared to look to Linux for an OS. Seems I did not miss much.

I too never cared for Linux, in our business fleet of 10,000 machines there are 4 that use Linux, and they are troublesome at best.

But before getting in to an argument around OS's, I think its easy to say that one day Linux may become a big player, but Apple's recent surge in popularity probably means the OS wars will be between Windows and OSX for some time.

..and look at IBM's OS2 Warp. They had true multitasking 20 years ago. What happened to it!?
