no false dawn

I am having a tough time with the vampires in the dungeon in windspear hills. I do not have false dawn and only Jaheia has negative plane protection. Can anyone suggest how to pass this challenge

Go to the City Gates, go into the Inn and through a secret door at the back.
Beat the fight in there, and get a realy good weapon vs. undead from the chest at the back. [img]smile.gif[/img]

You don't *have* to kill the guardian of the treasure LennonCook is talking about, just grab the treasure and RUN!

Does he? Then talk to the tavern owner and ask to stay the night before he leaves his little room... that'll reset him...

The easiest thing to do is make a left and continue through the dungeon and not go right and face the vampires.

Buy a couple of Protection from Undead scrolls (you can find them at the Adventure Mart, for one), use them on your two best fighters, and send them on ahead to clear out all the vamps and other assorted nasty undead. Then loot the place.

Thanks for the great replies!
I will go back to the adventures mart and get some protecion from undead scrolls for the entire party if I can afford them and go in and waste the vamps. I could make a left and avoid the room but I always like to uncover everything as I go so a return trip is not needed in most cases

Do you have the Mace of Disruption?
If not, go buy the Azuredge axe from the Copper Coronet.
Once you obtain one of these weapons, most Undeads are not a problem anymore. [img]smile.gif[/img]
