I am currently the lord of the keep strong hold but can I get rid of Nalia from my party and still have the strong hold ?

I think you can throw Nalia away without any consequences. Never tried myself...
Save then reload if the things get nasty

You don't have to take her to your party in first place. I have never took her along and still you can get the castle.
