Anyone playing it? Downloaded the demo over the weekend and got hooked. Gonna buy it today immediately after work.

Wow, it's great fun. Reminds me a bit of Lords of the Realm 2, but with a LOT more options and much better (more detailed) economy, warfare and diplomacy. And I have not yet even started to go to war myself (had my generals do it). Looks like there is some nice slaughter ahead.
Tried Germany at first, but got attacked early from all sides - too hard for a beginner. Then I did England - much better. Scotland and Ireland are no threat, only the continental provinces are endangered by France. The German Emepror was more than willing to forge an alliance, so we squeezed France from both sides till it fell. Can't wait till tonight to continue. Only hope my girlfriend is out with her friends. Oops.

Is the gameplay kinda like Medieval Total War ? I just saw some screenshots of the gamme, and the resemblance is obvious. I woul;d almost say they stole the idea from the TW series.

Sorry, I haven't played Medieval Total War. But from what I read on this forum MTW puts the stress on warfare, while KoH is more about developing your economy (as a basis of warfare of course). Cannot say for sure though.

I downloaded the demo, its pretty cool, and your dead on about the lord of realms thing. I like the warfare a little better in lord of the realms, the controls seemed a bit better, but its still pretty cool
