I did not put up a spoiler alert as to Tob it's best to finish SoA first
Have yu not yet finished SoA don''t Read When i finished Joneleth of for my second time, i found out some tears will react differently because you submitted to greed, wraith, pride, selfishness or fear now i wonder what do you get when you are evil and what do you get when you are good? I know pride grants 20% fire, colt and electrical resistance being good and 200000 XP being Evil + that what the dragon leaves Wraith (Saravok) grants +1 Wisdom and +1 charisma being good and +2 strenght being evil Greed gives +2 to all saving throws being good and +15 HP +Blackrazor being evil now i got 10% magic resistance and immunity to +1 weapons left of which i know neither the sin nor the opposite ------------------ |

1) Blessed Tear - Immunity to +1 or lower weapons
Pretty nifty thing to have you must admit. Pity most things in ToB have better weapons than this, but very nice to have nevertheless. Tainted Tear - +2 to CON Big fat hairy deal... by the time you achieve this tear. CON bonuses no longer benefit you. Unless you had very high base CON defaults to start with, there is no real benefit from this evil tear... ... 2) Blessed Tear - +10% resistance to magic Magic Resistance is always a good thing. Tainted Tear - +2 to AC You got to be kidding me... ... 3) Blessed Tear - +2 to all saving throws This is quite lovely, you will rarely fail your saving throws. However... ... Tainted Tear - +15 hit points Bah to the Hp, but Blackrazor is not to be scoffed at. Tough choice though, since there are many, many good weapons in ToB. It is up to you, better saving throws or a very decent weapon? 4) Blessed Tear - +20% resistance to Fire, Cold, and Electricity Good stuff, nuff said. Tainted Tear - 200,000 exp OMG, please, stop it! You're making me laugh too much... ... 5) Blessed Tear - +1 to WIS and +1 to CHA Pretty nifty if you are a Mage or a Cleric. Tainted Tear - +2 STR Rather... redundant... since there are so many STR enhancing items. ------------------ If not a Sorcerer casting total oblivion, then a Paladin meting out justice. Well, Blackrazor sucks in ToB... better to have those +2 to saving throws...
I wonder, is there another way to beat the dragon? I mean, is there another way? Shall you pickpocket him or something? ------------------ Heya! It's just me, Bahamut! |

Why do you want to kill the Dragon? That's the evil path.

well, that +1 wisdom and +1 charisma are useless to my barbarian, who wisdom is around 8 and charisma 6! But having +2 strength will put my strength at 21, which means when raging i would have str 25 without crom fayr(sp)

If i can give my opinion
1) Blessed Tear - Immunity to +1 or lower weapons Pretty useless when facing +3 weapons Tainted Tear - +2 to CON base CON 19 or 18 and you'll end up with 21 or 20 which means REGENERATION 2) Blessed Tear - +10% resistance to magic agree it's usefull Tainted Tear - +2 to AC Very usefull to my Ranger 3) Blessed Tear - +2 to all saving throws I rarely fail at throws despite the fact i have no +2 bonus Tainted Tear - +15 hit points Worthless but Blakrazor is a very nice sword 4) Blessed Tear - +20% resistance to Fire, Cold, and Electricity Usefull but gainable by weapons too Tainted Tear - 200,000 exp can come in handy but you can also get uit by summoning some pit fiends 5) Blessed Tear - +1 to WIS and +1 to CHA What use does Wisdom have?????? or Charisma for that matter? my cleric has 21 i'm not gonna give my ranger a 9 charisma Tainted Tear - +2 STR Useful, at least more then Wisdom ------------------ |

How fast is this regeneration for CON 20 or 21. When my Cleric Draws Upon Holy Might, and gets 25 CON, I don't seem to notice any regeneration going on.

First one,
a) Immunity to all +1 weapons: Well, they gotta have at least a +12 weapon to hit me! Harharharhar! ) b) +2 Consitution: Oh It's great! I dont know about regeneration but if it's true it's GREAT! And also 21 Con will give you extra HP's. Second one, a) %10 Resistance Magic: Come on it's nothing! It's only %10!! You'll take 10 damage instead of 11. b) +2 AC: It's GREAT. Third one, a) +2 to all saves: It's GREAT!! Definetly!! b) +15 HP and Blackrazor: There's more powerful swords than blackrazor in ToB as I heard. And 15 Hp is nothing for your main character but even you're level 30 stil you can fail saving throws so go for the saving throws +2 I say.. Four.. a) %20 Res to fire, cold, electric: Items grants you resistance. But if you dont care about xp may be useful. b) 200.000 Xp: SOunds good. Nice. Why not? Five.. a)+1 Wis +1 Cha: If you're not a priest.. it's useless. b)+2 Str: Are you kidding??!! ------------------ "Not for your eyes only, also for your beautiful ears.." Yngwie J. Magic resistance cancels the effects of the spell, not
lower the damage. I have a 7% magic resistance and it's worked a couple of times already. |

A..a..Are you serious? Does magic resistance REALLY cancels the effect? But if so, why fire and cold resistances lower damage I'm confused
