How do I download and listen to music?

Call me computer illiterate (I can slay dragons in BG2 or kick your butt in Taboo though, so don't be talkin smack, mister), but how in the world do you download and listen to music? I used to to have napster on the old pc, and you could download AND (yes, I repeat, AND) listen to music through it. Now, whatever I download seems to be one or the other (a downloader OR a player, not BOTH!)!

I like www.iMesh.com , but lots of people recommend Kazaalite(I don't know the address, but I know they recommend the "lite" version).

EDIT - Also, anything you download should play on MS MEdiaPlayer or REalplayer, etc., as long as its "normal" file type.

Kazaalite? WTF? It's just plain old Kazaa. And the URL is http://www.kazaa.com, as RBF said. It's by the far the best to download music, videos, software. Anything.

Also, get winamp (just realeased new version, Winamp 3.0) at http://www.winamp.com to play the music!

Nah thats the original Kazaa, it's www.kazaalite.com.
Lavindathar Kazaalite is a modified version of Kazaa the original - exactly the same thing except A) No annoying popups and B) None of that evil spyware.
I've been using it for a good while now and the new version has even be 'lited' too.
Get it before it gets YOU.

get kazaalite, it has the spyware removed, if you already have Kazaa , the standard one, you have to maually de-install the spyware, there was a thread ehre a month or so ago about how to do it, but I can't recall what the files are...

I use WinMX i like it i have heard Kazaa is the better one to use but i dont really care theres so many differnt file sharing programs. Its really up to you which one u want i would stick with Kazaa though er Kazaalite? If you have trouble using them tell us or forever me computer illiterate.

I hate iMesh now! Some idiot hacked me through it and now my internet doesn't work and my computer runs so slow!

EDIT: Can people hack you through Kazaalite?

It uses a direct computer-to-computer connection, so yes they can hack you quite easily if they know how to port surf.
