Hmm. Both. For different reasons.
Also fun is having a Neutral PC who has both in his party. Keeping them all satisfied can be a whole new game. |

Murder controls the population a bit, reducing starvation and wide spread disease due to over crowding. Technically speaking, even bad things generally serve a greater purpose. |

Evil has the best Tank and arguably the best Wizard, but no Thief and only 3 characters total. Also, you can't buy items cheaply.
Good has the best Cleric, the other 2 contenders for best Wizard, and all 4 of the other contenders for best Tank, but also falls short in Thievery. Wins bonus points for Carsomyr potential. Neutral has more Thievery than Good & Evil put together, the only Druidic spells, and a decent Cleric. But it has no Wizards and its Warriors are just barely enough Tanking material to protect the party. Summary: Power-wise, you would be best with a mostly-Good party with 1 or 2 Neutral folks.
