I doubt this law will ever be passed. Even if it is that's what hackers are there for if it's software there will always be a way to disable it and if it is hardware I can take it out myself. However this would be a disadvantage to computers users that don't know where to find the info and therefore cripple peer-to-peer programs I guess. This would be about enough for me to try to start a retaliation as I download a massive amount of material peer-to-peer.
