Yes! finally, a decent D&D game for a video game console! i was reading thru y fav music magazine today (Alternative Press) and during the section "hot games for summer", i see this add for a d&d game for gamecube (nintendo), ps2, and xbox. this is gotta be the coolest thing ever. the graphis are so cool, you can play with 3 other friends. it uses 3rd edition rules, all the feats and everything. a must buy! i expect each and every one of you to pick up this game. its way too cool not to . find out more at www.infogrames.com (yes, its suposed to be "grames" not "games")

Only downfall is they said it leans alittle towards hack and slash, and you can only be certain classes. they just have basic stuff, no kits

Some kits can be done without, though some of the most powerful are in epic levels and I doubt the game is that indepth. Kits like Pyrotechnics, Avangians, Blackguards and so forth is something the game can do without. As for hack'n'slash, it's alright if they still have good amounts of role-playing in it.

You doubt my favorite game of all time? You shall die swiftly for your words Ninja Storm Shadow
Heh, have faith, hopefully it won't be a copy of the D&D movie |

Yeah, I dont think it looks very promising either. No realy deep character creation (if any creation at all) and yeah, it looks a bit too hack n' slash.
But it is pretty cool you can play with your friends, that should help create a 'pnp' atmosphere.

Thee challenge me? Thee shall die for this!
I say I doubt it because It may end up into another hack and slash game just like the game King Artur in PS2. or the Baldurs Gate : Dark Alliance. |

What are the restrictions? Fighter, cleric, rogue, and wizard as classes, and human, elf, and dwarf as races? That's it isn't it? I know this is the first D&D for consoles, but Gauntlet has a greater selection than that. I'm not going to put down a game before I've witnessed it, but I'm a halfling person myself. That's all.
