If you're a mod, it will be in your titles in all forums. Currently, Larry and Cloudy are modding only in the new Role-Playing forum.

Cheers,

Most new mods are at the individual forums rather than the group forums (Mouse at Darkstone, Cloudy and Larry at Role-Playing). Also, the posting at GD comes in waves. I've seen times that I've posted something and 15 minutes later it's almost on page 2 because of all the posts that are being made.

We're in between a lot of different games right now, which is leading to a slight lull in posting. However, Wizardry 8 is being released today (YAY!) which is going to bring in a slew of new members to IW (and we'll do what we can to introduce them to General Discussions as well). When Neverwinter Nights goes live, I can just imagine this place will be a madhouse of activity.

Cheers,

May all their modding be of the reasonable trouble free variety .

Seriously though, it's good to see some more of the day-to-day policing of the forums spread around a bit more. IMHO, our long serving mods and Ziroc have done a great job so far, but it would be unfair to expect them to carry all the burdens as the forums continue to grow and diversify.

So congrats to Cloudy and Larry and all my best wishes

Do also realize that IW is growing; we're getting close to 5000 members here, and the growth is going to explode once Wiz 8 and Neverwinter take off. Of course, not all of them are active, but a lot of them participate in the various gaming forums.

Gen Con is a strange bird. It doesn't appeal to everyone, and there's generally something here that will offend at least someone. I'd say less than 10% of the IW members actively participate in Gen Con, and that's a pretty stable percentage. For those of us who love it and appreciate it, it's a rolicking good time. Still, we do what we can to expand its interest.

Cheers to IW's growth, and may it continue to prosper!
