Actually, any executable in your path can be run. So to get a full list, drop down to a command prompt (that'd be "run cmd") and type "set path" (sans quotes). That will give you your full path. Anything in any of those directories is fair game.

Windows and Windows\system32 only count if they're in the path... or perhaps the start-in directory.

Same here. Also Larry, go to Microsoft and do a search for Powertoys for XP. That was the first thing I always installed when I ran Windows 98. I'm a tweak freak.. I even keep my desktop cleaned of icons, because each one eats like 3kb of memory

Odd. It works when I run it from start->run, but not from cmd or command.

Looking further, msconfig.exe is now in some weird directory that only M$ would have used (can you tell that I hate and despise them?) that isnt in the path but is obviously checked by the command option. Only under a M$ OS could this kind of crap happen.
