I don't know you, but many people here at IW do, and count you as a friend and I'm positive not one person on this board would do what they did to you.
I checked that board out (incidently it loaded very fast for me, but then again I'm on cable) and other than trying to install Gator, I didn't really see anything overly bad. If they turned on you, then sooner or later they will turn on each other, but by responding to them you're letting them hurt you even more, and they know that.
Two wrongs don't make a right and deep down inside I think you know that. Prove to yourself that you are bigger and better than they are. You know what they're all about, don't give them the satisfaction of hurting you further.

Believe it or not, I tried doing those things for over a year, and they never stopped. There's only so much one man can take, and that was my breaking point. I don't like that I have to get some of my closest friends involved in it, but it's the only way to fight fairly to them; use overwhelming numbers and leave no quarter, though of course I'm sure we have more mercy than them. Turning the other cheek is all good and well, but there's only so many cheeks a person can turn before he has to strike back. Noramlly I am a pacifist, but these people don't deserve me holding back. What I'm taking revenge for happened a while ago, but they take delight in profanity and insulting. Obviously not the best stock of human beings... Anyways, I think that after tomorrow enough will have been done. Even though they pushed on me for weeks and continued for even longer than that after I fell out, I have a life and it doesn't seem like they do. Perhaps I'm missing something here, but if they continue to insult and hurt you why go back to that board? You must do what you feel is right in your heart of course, but just from this one simple converstion we've had I don't think this is in your heart. Stick with your friends and forget those losers, they're not worth your time and effort.

Usually I wouldn't take revenge, you do have me there. But this is a slight that cannot go unpunished against myself. Not only did they insult my decision, they also insulted one of my best friends, and a few others that I'm not so attatched to but still took offense to. I don't let people put down my friends. I was actually fine when it was me, but when they brought my friends into it that was over the line. So I am not a vengeful man, but when my friends are brought into it, all bets are off. All I want from them is an apology, and I'm talking to one right now and he hasn't given one yet. Regardless it would be stupid to keep it going when I'm not even here, so like I said, if anyone's still interested tomorrow they can but should stop on Monday.

Well, like I said, you must do what you believe to be right. i doubt you will get an apology of any sorts from these people. They seem to get pleasure from causing others grief. I would be surprised that you could much to cause these people even a portion of what you've felt. I have said my piece and will say no more about this, but please don't stoop to their level. There is no honour among theives.
