Given that it is a new forum and we have lots of new TOYS it is understandable that for a while everyone is going to be playing with them.

But I do agree with Mark that I would prefer to see most of the threads related to helping players or humor about W&W rather than gaining more stars or trying out all the great images. We have a couple threads now (like this one) that you can use to spam for stars and one "Image Test" or some such thing for testing out the pictures - let's try to keep to those threads instead of starting more.

HAve Fun!

Okay, I think I understand about the stars. Annoying things, and all they do is encourage mass postings,

But what in heck means "Elite Waterdeep Guard"?????

Saz!
Well, I do know that Waterdeep is a large city in Forgotten Realms of AD&D and it had one of the most dangerous dungeons underneath it. I believe the first of the Eye of the Beholder games was (were?) based there. But I don't know what it has to do with the forum. Actually I never noticed it until you posted.

Aparently I don't deserve any stars (even after my brilliant stories, annecdotes, contributions to various threads etc) all because I decided to correct a slight mistake that occured. This was due to a certain vagueness on the previous forums enrolement form that didn't make it too clear wich of two names would be at the top of our posts. As I wasn't able to change this earlier I'll just start all over again and see how this goes.

How come if you post on the same thread more than once, it still has the same # of posts by your name?

hmmm.. is that an upgrade?

I sort of miss the preview option, being fumble-fingered and all, hehe.

Actually, I didn't give anyone a set amount , it was a 'mod' that I added to the forum's code, and whoever made this mod created the settings. Heck, I though I'd have the same rank, but nnoooooo, I get 5 BLINKING stars! geez!! Anyway, just to let ya all know, I didn't set the amount, the guy that wrote the 'mod' did. and yep, the Moderator gets 4 blue stars. (I don't even know what the higher level users will get)

PS: If you want to Use the stars I have, check out the 'graphics library' at the top right hand of your screen. Example:
