This is an awesome system information tool that has been developed by Bioware for you to check if your computer can install and run BG2 and ToB. It checks memory, HD space, everything. And it also saves all this info in a text file so you can easily email it to Bioware if you are having difficulties with either game. Very easy to use, just download, unzip and run!

Thanks, Memnoch !

But I have to say that the output confused me a bit: the program diagnosed the specifications of my system properly and also detected that I had not installed ToB yet, but it didn't tell me if my system could handle ToB or not. Or maybe it did as the icon didn't turn to green, but in this case it didn't provide any explanation, either.

Btw, has ToB come out anywhere but the US yet ?

It's come out in Australia, don't know about Europe yet. You can scroll down that top window and find out if your system can handle ToB, the data is further down the page. I got confused by it too.

Thanks, again, Memnoch.

Yes, you were of course right: I had gotten confused by the two parallel sets of scroll bars ! So, yes my system is fit for ToB, but the bad news - well I actually kind of knew it - is that I will have to wait until I have saved enough money to buy a new 40 GB HDD before I'll be able to play ToB as the recommended installations of SoA and ToB combined take up well over 2 GB and it will turn out almost impossible to free up that much space on my tiny 3.2 GB harddrive ... Sigh !

Well, I managed to fit BG2 and ToB on my 3.5Gb drive - it took some creative work with Windows Explorer, though.
