Hi all.

I've finished BG1 before (although I was a bit ignorant as to how it all worked then) and I now want to import a character into BG2. In the first game there are various tomes/books that you could read to increase stat's permanently.
What I'm after doing is whizzing through BG1 as quickly as possible and collecting said books to give to my bloke. I then want to import him with the increased but fairly gained stat's into BG2. I'm not too worried what levels I achieve and I'd happily slide in, thieve the required and slide back out unnoticed if nessecary. Can someone please tell me where the books are, what ones are available and the quickest way to obtain them......without cheating.

Thanks.

Charlie.

AS you know good things do not come easy. To get most of the books you need to play as far as getting into Baldurs gate. But here is the list of books
1. Cont: Light house Nw corner.
2. Charisma: Gnoll strong hold cave in sw
3. Dexterity: Barrel in thieves guild. Which is in BAldurs gate.
4. Wisdom: Catacoms underneath candlekeep.
5. Int. Ramaziths tower in BAldurs gate.
6. Str: Catacoms underneath candle keep.

If it was me I would play BAldurs gate the first one for the hell of it. But as far as getting the extra stats. I would not waste my time. They only raise one point. Besides If you want to play a fighter why does he need to be smart or have good wisdom. OR a thief he needs dex, con, str, only if you ask me. And in the game if you need higher int. just drink potions. Anyways I hope this helps you.
