Hiya Ziroc,

A while ago you mentioned that you were really close to another big update of the Dungeon Craft part of the Ironworks website.
I held my breath until I turned blue and passed out all while waiting for the update. When I awoke I must have forgotten....But I remembered now.

I know that you are very involved in NWN now, but was wondering if there was any chance taht we would see some more of our wonderful DC artwork?

Just worked on a 14 month project for my NWN Mod, but the answer is yes! I cannot give a date, but I do plan new goodies for DC!

BTW, that teleporter in DC? I made a 3D Model of it in NWN, and its all animated, and awesome!!

All I can say is keep checking!!

Some day I will get a new computer, and then I can play NWN. The first stuff I'm going to download is here at Ironworks.

What is the current on the Dungeon Crafter engine? Will there be an update in the future?

Yes there will.

I don't know when. Tarlanon? I know CocoaSpud had one ready to go, that just needs to be checked by Tarlanon and that put together in the release package...

"""Features in the Works
Networking (lowest priority).
Complete the Combat code. Includes Spells, Throwing
Hammers, ect.

Spells and spell graphics - a lot of support functions are
present, and the spell editor and database code is in place.

Improve combat Artificial Intelligence for Monsters, NPC's, and
Automatic 'quick' player option.
Reduce File Sizes and Memory Footprint, This has been
worked on some already, but will still be worked on as more
features are added.

Probably a lot more that I have not thought of yet!"""

Wow, so that's all that really needs to be worked on. It has been years since I looked at the dungeon craft engine, but what I tinkered with was awesome. It will be pretty damn cool for throwing weapons and spells to be fully implemented.

The artwork is stunning. Though, I still sometimes like to use those old POR kobolds and stuff just for nostalgia.

'Spud had some good enhancements to the code checked in (from what I can gather from the change log), but I wouldn't really call it enough for a release just yet.

I'd like to take care of a few other bugs, especially with sprite graphics and thrown objects before going through the process of building a new release.

That sounds great. I think it's awesome that you've taken on the mantle of Bug Squasher.

Gosh, now I'll have to get back to work on the default art.
