Hi all,
after deciding to play a dual bastard sword wielding character, it seems that magical versions are a little thin on the ground. I've just scrutinised the Recipes of the Forge booklet, and it seems that they have a recipe for every sword (including the Katana) except for the poor bastard (sword). So basically, what I want to know is; is there a hidden recipe that's not listed for a decent magical bastard sword, and if so what are its components. It's been a while since I played the single player default campaign, but I can certainly remember some powerful bastard swords in the later stages of the game. At what level can I expect to start finding fancy versions (other than the standard enchanted versions that can be found)? |

One look at the toolset editor shows there are no hidden recipies for the bastardsword, and 5 non-standard bastardswords to be found.
You have a (slim) chance of encountering the cheapest of the 5 after reaching 3rd level. |
