myhusband is taking me out in the morning, and one place we are going is to the movies, we both want to see 2 movies, but can not decide which one would be the better of the 2
1. matrix reloaded
2. X men 2

those who have seen them, tell me which is better?

well, i've seen Xmen 2 twice, and Matrix reloaded once. i'm gonna go and see it again though. i'd have to say reloaded. it just kicks arse.

I thought Xmen was the better film actualy, and Im surprised at that. Some of the fight scenes in Matrix were just overdone. Theres only so many minutes I can watch Neo kick arse at one time.

Yeah it's a very tough decision, they are both very good. I'd have to say that they are both "must-sees" but X-men 2 comtains less of some computer graphics guy showing off what he can create. I'd say X-men 2 is better all round, as in it's consistently enjoyable throughout the film, but Reloaded improves vastly towards the end and puts some cool twists on the story to bring it back in line with the quality of X-men. that doesn't help much does it?

In short: X-men 2 is enjoyable throughout the whole film, Reloaded has some bits that you don't really wanna watch cos they're boring/ludicrous but makes up for it towards the end.

this is not helping much,lol

but here is some info that might be of use, the theater we are going to is twice as big as normal ones, and the screens are from floor to celing and wall to wall, the seats are 3 feet from the ones in front, there is no wrong place to sit here, would the graphics of reloaded be to much to veiw on such big screens?

The graphics of Matrix would be fine on a large screen. The main issue here is that X-men 2 is marginally the better movie overall anyway, and has plenty of excellent effects on it's own behalf. You'll have alot more fun watching X-Men than Reloaded, trust me.

Besides, matrix 2 has the most annoying ending ever. The end is the best part of the film, and then its "to be continued". Too much of the story is left up in the air, I need to see the next film, but thats not out for months

Its bad enough when its a just a day to wait.

The big screens shouldnt be a problem, unless its big enough that you are concious of the need to look around to see the whole film. Sit towards the back to make sure.

Go to the Matrix if you want to be blown away. X-men 2 is good, yes, but i could actually think of more than one word at a time when watching it
