Here in about 2 months or so I will be going to Germany. My transfer from the National Guard tp the Reg. Army is on its way to be signed by my Brigade Cmmdr. My orders aren't in yet, but I will be going to Germany. For how long you might ask. Oh not too long... 3 years. Im really looking forward to going. But I am not looking forward to leaving the girl I love, Angel (yes thats her real name),
for that long. I just spent the weekend with her, she lives three hours away in indianopolis. I've known her for 5 years. I called her mom today to ask if I have her blessing to ask Angel to marry me. Of course, since she loves me she said yes. So here in a few weeks I am going to be proposing to her. Go me. Just wanted to let you guys know. Out.

Ah, you ignorant barbarians, Germany is as good as Britain!
I go there twice every year (have family there) and its fine. Really good. The beer, hm, well, I don't know about the strength, but Germans consume the most beer in Europe, so... Enjoy your time, and wish the two of you the best of luck!! |

My father and his girlfriend are both high-ups in water management and in fact the water over there in some places is the best in all of Europe. Don't worry, it's not going to give you cooties or have little bugs in it. Have fun Dizzy, and good luck with the proposal. Edit: ROTFL Donut Yes, about the beer - I don't know how much they water it down wherever you are, but the alcohol percentage is normal in most beers. It's the QUANTITY consumed that makes the difference. [ 05-19-2003, 06:27 AM: Message edited by: Melusine ]
it was a joke guys, my husband drank the beer more than water, lol and as for the beer, we can not have true german beer here, has to be below a certan percentage in alcohol by volume so the imports are *watered down*
