well twelve people say they believed the prosecution's case.there were too many people who testified that he admitted to killing moxley.and it didn't help when he changed his alibi.
and of course the kennedys are above the law.if they can't bribe the victims to shut up,they bribe the law to keep it quiet.

I'm sure this isn't the last of this case we will be hearing, Skakel's lawyer won't give up, can you just feel the Appeal?

You know when this first became public, they couldn't find one person with any viable information.
Makes you wonder who paid who.

I really wonder about the evidence. I mean maybe he DID do it. And theres a good chance he did. But people saying he said this and that....well thats pretty weak in my opinion. But none of us were jurors on that case, maybe they saw something that we didnt. Anyway you can be sure he'll appeal and be out in a couple days. Then a few more years of retrying him. Ahhh to be a lawyer.....

Actually the judge turned down his request for bail while his appeal is pending so he goes to jail directly to jail till his sentencing july 19th. If he gets jail time which I think the judge is leaning towards since he refused bail he has to sit three till hsi appeal runs.
Also most of the testimony given was back up with recored testimony that ws given at the time fo the incident. The oly new stuff was statements he made while in rehab. the big thing was when the found the murder weapon which still (can you belive this after all these years) traces of her on it.
But the article the Associated Press released today says "Prosecutors had a 27-year-old case with no eyewitnesses and no forensic evidence such as DNA that could directly connect Skakel to the slaying.

Wouldn't "traces of her on it" be classified as some type of forensic evidence?

The AP barticle also states that the rehab school they attended at the time was given to berating and beating students until they told administrators what they wanted to hear, "an atmosphere that contributed to Skakel's purported confession".
Shouldn't this have been taken into account?

His request for bail being denied is a bit harsh as well...are they afraid the Kennedys are going to put him into hiding?
Does the judicial board with the power over the moves being made in this case have a vendetta against the Kennedys for any reason?
Sounds like it to me.
Just My Opinion.

I don't see why the Kenedy's are considered so high-and-mighty anyway... just because one was the president and then was shot, and one was a senator but died in an airplane, and one was trying to be the president and was a senator but was also shot... I'm sorry but what the hell out of all of that makes the Kenedy's so great? Besides Skakel is a distant cousin who doesn't share the same last name, it was his mother's maiden name so there's no point to it, a Drug addicts a drug addict's a drug addict, just as a Muderrer is a murderrer is a murderrer... we can't differinciate between them, we are a country that is so free that we can put our own leader to the Death penalty should he commit a mass murder in the oval office, we shouldn't let a distant relative of a person who USED to have that office have equal power, oH and money is NOTHING unlless you're Bill Gates...
