I'd have to go with Jan. Noober just talks all at once, then leaves. He's also more annoying. At least when Jan talks, he has a point or some cool story to talk about. I can imagine why the people throw rocks at him.

... I remember Noober from BG1... back then... he was annoying as all hell... but alas, to kill him was to cause the same damage to your reputation as if you had killed a duke... now tell me, how does that work!! the people should praise me for taking such a menace to society to his rightful place, under the ground, where people don't have to hear him!

Slight spoiler
- - - - In BG1 you could get Noober to shut up - you just had to talk to his something like 30 times - then he would run out of things to say AND you would get 400 XP!!

Noober/Neeber doeesn't say as much as Jan, but whatever Jan says has point (and frequently a subtext), while Noober/Neeber's comments are utterly without content. This makes them seem much longer.

Yeah, I talked noober out. I still say killing him is much more pleasurful than letting him give you 400 xp.
