All through BGI & BGII & TOB I've never had Biff the Understudy appear. It's probably because I don't kill people needlessly, but I'd like to see him.

Can anyone provide some places in any of the areas (even BGI) that they know Biff pops up & what you have to do (or who you have to kill) to make it happen?

Thanks,
Imrahil

I'm sure this isn't what you mean, but he does appear as one of the actors in the basement of the Five Flagons.

Biff the Understudy always appears in bg1 when a character is absent but a dialogue has been initiated that involves them. Hence biff the Understudy. Such as if Jaheira is summoned in without khalid being around. The play under the Five Flagons Inn with Biff the Understudy is one of the funniest moments in the game and is another little easter egg for bg1 vets.

Biff tends to appear in BG1 more often in multiplayer, where lag can cause the game to *think* a character is absent, whereas it's not.

But he's funnier in the Five Flagons

I've seen Biff the most in BG1 - the evil bard and the duke's daughter (I really can't remember their names) seem to trigger him easiest. Still remember the first time I saw Biff. I really thought something had f**ked up. Seeing him in the Five Flagons was a moment of pure joy.

It's an effort now for me to avoid calling Reeka "sweetums"
