Hi all
I have a confession to make, I am a tidy freak. I have lots of magic bags, five with -100% and about seven with -80%. In my -100% I put all the heavy armor, swords etc. When those get full up I put them in my -80%. And a bag for traps, kits and bits and bobs I pick up but don't use. I also have a special magic bag in the corner to hold little things like gems and spells. These are all on my last page of my inventory. I also have a page especially for quest items (again in the little boxes you find) Special page for arrows and equipment Special page for potions A different bag for reagents. You get the picture. Is it just me that is weird or do other people do this too? You get so much stuff you just have to keep it tidy and together. Oh... and I am a girl by the way, does that explain it? Lady Zidane

hhmmm....I guess I do keep everthing somewhat organized but not quite to that extreme. I keep a full tab for potions and the last tab I use for misc items like the stone of recall or a torch and bags and containers. In the containers I put items such as dragons blood, fairy dust, etc. I also keep a tab for items that I might want to eqip in the future other than that I don't care. Things just seem easier to find with a little organization.

I have been meaning to reorganise, much like yours actually . My inventory drives me crazy, it's such a mess! I think I'll find it annoying though that every time I get a new item I'll have to check in and make sure it gets put in the right spot. Plus I need more magic bags, am chronically short of money .

Actually, I keep mine organized pretty much like yours, with some exceptions. I keep all of my bags of holding (-100%) empty; that's where all the loot I get along the way goes into (I seem to get lots of suits of armor in my treasure, since I'm a cleric, so that was out of necessity). I have 5 of the -80% bags, filled with nothing by "usable" items (potions, rods, rings of invisibility, etc.). After I use the "rechargable" items, I just make sure to take them out of bag, or they won't recharge. Then I have two boxes, one full of ammo, and the other to stick ammo I accumulate during the fighting and looting (I get lots of bullets, but I use a bow ). That is all on the first page. On the second page, I have all of the weapons that I switch to (i.e. have on my quickslot). Third, fourth, and fifth pages are for overflow of quest items. Sixth page is where I have my quest items. I have six of the -60% and under bags. Every time I get a head, ear, book, note, etc. I place in here. Even though it is in a bag, you can still give it to someone in dialog. When these bags get a little full, I do a little "spring cleaning" and drop all of the "fluff" quest items (i.e. the stuff that once you do the quest involved, are worthless). I tend to be a pack rat, keeping everything that has any use, even if I don't use it often. I consider the multiple bag system essential for managing that.
Oh, forgot to mention reagents. I have two -40% bags on the sixth page with those, too.

I don't have quite as man bags (stone of recall doesn't cost that much), but I also organize my inventory (not quite in the same way as yours though)

i find it irritating that my inventory is a junk... had to take 10min just to fix everything.. sigh... i wish there was some kind of instant button for that.

I use a combination of pages and bags.
On page 1 goes all my "newly picked up stuff" because that's the default. Once I get to a resting place, or a lull, I do some inventory management. Items for sale either remain on Page 1, are moved to page 1 (from page 2) or, if heavy, put in "to sell" 100% bag in the lower right-hand corner of page 1. Potions go into the "potion bag" (80%) on inventory page 2. This character is not a thief. If he were a thief, all thief items would go on Page 3. If he were a fighter-type, this would be where I kept alternate weapons. Scrolls go into the scroll bag (60%) on page 4. Ammunition goes on page 4, unless this is a character that uses hand-thrown ammunition (shirkun, darts) in which case the ammunition goes on Page 1. Ammunition is NEVER put in a bag. (Learned that the hard way... Now Linu, where did you put those extra arrows? What do you mean *I* was supposed to bring them...... Arrrgghhhh... gargle. gargle. cough up blood. die...} Staves & non-equipable magic items go into a bag (100%) on Page 5. Duplicate and swap-out equipable magic items go into a 100% bag also on page 5. I sell most reagents, but like to keep at least two of each, and those are kept either "free" on page 5 or in a bag (40%) on page 5. Important quest items, notes and the what not go to page 5, but are not in a bag.

I'm a pack rat, too.
Seeing as you have no permanent dwelling/keep to store everything, I'm afraid to drop anything. Never know what will come in handy.
