For those who don't know Kevin Keegan is a former football player(that's soccer player to all you American's and aussies). He's now the coach of Manchester City and is known for saying some really daft things here's some of them...

1) "Chile have three options they could win or they could lose."
2) "That would have been a goal if it wasn't saved."
3) "Batistuta is very good at pulling off defenders."
4) "A tremendous strike which hit the defender full on the arm, and it nearly came off."
5) "In some ways cramp is worse than having a broken leg."
6) "They'll be no siestas in Madrid tonight."
7) "The 33 or 34 year olds will be 36 or 37 the time the next world cup comes, if there not careful."
8) "I came to Nantes two years ago and it is much the same today - except that it is totally different." LOl!(I like that one !)
9) "The Under-17s are doing very well. You get bunches of players like you do bananas, though that is a bad comparison."
10) "Not many teams come to Arsenal and get anything - home or away."
11) "I know what is around the corner - I just don't know were the corner is."
12) "Football's always easier when you've got the ball."
13) "Technically correct... and yet completely moronic."
14) "Argentina won't be at Euro 2000, there from South America."
15) "Shaun Wright-Philips has got a big heart. It is as big as him, which isn't very big - but it's bigger."

LOL! Quite funny he's a bit of a headcase isn't he? My favorites have to be 4 and 8!

Those are funny, but I think it's even funnier when someone posts something like this, someone else responds with 'where do you find this stuff?' and Melusine comes into the thread, rolls her eyes, and goes 'just about anywhere on the net!'

Yes, but the KING is from the US of A.

When you come to a fork in the road, take it.
The future ain't what it used to be.
It ain't over til it's over.
You can observe a lot just by watching.
Sports are 90% mental and 50% physical.
It's like deja vu all over again.
If you don't know where you're going, you'll end up somewhere else.

That's actually, really deep, if he meant it the way I read it

LOL. I feel sorry for athletes and actors and models and such who say silly things, or things taken literally that they meant figuratively. They're not employed for their sparkling repartee after all. And how many times I say something completely inane, or not the way I intended. Doesn't get printed in newspapers and online for everyone to laugh at though

Glenn Hoddle speaking about Michael Owen.

"Michael is not a natural born goalscorer - he might be one day"

Er Glenn - you're either natural born or you're not!
