A supreme act of stupidness and trying to be funny.

I took my first name and typed it out.
I took my surname and typed it out next to my first name.

And what I typed was my name.

No, you didn't Somebody else did, though.
And I think that was more seconds than minutes. Those Amberites are very fast, after all.
As far as Amber series is concerned... I *loved* first five. But after that ... never could really stand Merlin as a central character instead of Corwin. Sigh
Btw, did you play that ancient PC Adventure ... I think it was called Chronomaster ? Zelazny wrote the script/plot/story.

A while back there was a [underrated IMO] first-person shooter called Blood (from Monolith) - a very scary game (and funny too; also quite difficult).

Very underrated & it's one of my favorite all-timer FPS. Loved Blood 2 too, but they never could capture that comic/scary ambience of the original.

My name is from Terry Brooks book "Druid of Shannara". There was a really cool assassin there and I started using the name on a few boards. Then It just sort of stuck and now I'm using it everywhere online.

I have been trying to resist posting in this topic but it kept being bumped up, I might as well join in

1. Wing Commander, the infamous Paladin.

2. Fallout, the Paladins from The Brotherhood of Steel.

Paladin + 2000 = Paladin2000. If I remember correctly, I have been using this name since 1998/99.
