cant you just call it 'chat cafe' or something else.

sorry for the moan, but there ye go!
Radiant, I remember you and I'm sure you remember me. Welcome back, mate. A couple of comments for you:

1. Don't be a rude wiseass to people you don't know and don't walk around in here like you own the place - none of us do because nobody likes that. It's impolite and tactless - I don't know which forums you've been hanging out in in the last few months, but this is not the way we do things here - surely you remember this. Having a "bad day" is no excuse - we all have bad days but we all have a responsibility to exercise self-control.

2. You may not have been aware of this since you've been away posting on all those other forums and only just remembered us, but Cloudbringer is a moderator here. I don't appreciate you calling her arrogant (or anyone else, for that matter) when you don't even know who she is. Despite this she still gave you the benefit of the doubt when you start bleating about how arrogant she is. Please remember that and treat your fellow members with more respect next time.

Leave your attitude at the door or don't even post on this thread. Fair enough? Cheers.

HAHAHA!!! Now that conjures up a funny image!
No, I mean why do people want 2 or more of anything? I bet you have more than one pair of shoes But you can only wear one at a time, right?

My Vespa is very reliable and is automatic - great for getting around town, shopping, commuting etc. But the Lambretta is a classic vintage collectors item and is in show condition. So I'll be taking it to rallies and entering it! You know, like people do with vintage cars. Well the same sort of thing goes on with scooters - thousands of parka/bomber-jacket clad people getting together with their vintage scoots, winning trophies, dancing to soul, and generally having a good time. In the same way that some people might have a modern car for running around in, and an old one that they keep polished up for rallies.

Fair enough. There are smileys to show lightheartedness - using them may avoid these types of incidents in the future, eh?

It certainly seemed serious at the time, R_M, given your tone and your inclination. Personally, I think you're doing a fast job of backpedaling. Just be respectful of others here, that's all we ask.

Right, it appears all the misunderstandings and ill-feelings have been sorted out.

Time to let the matter drop and move on.
