Yup, there's a streak of uniqueness in all them Sky! Cool to see so many people signing on.
As an update, I have just added a few more details to the magic system, and character development, but I have several items. Like for one, what are the major stats, and what are the averages? Is a person with 10 strength a god or a weakling? I myself vote for a precise a system as possible, with a 20 being average, and 100 being godhood in a praticular stat(not maximum), but that's just my take on it.

100 is a bit high... but then again, it is godhood, so I guess it works... I'd like to take a look at what you have, if it's alright. just to get a feel for what direction we're heading with this. Just send it to my email, I have it listed on my profile.

EDIT- got a question. How big are we thinking with this? I mean, if I was to draw a map of the game, would it be an entire world, or would it be a continent with a few islands off of it?

that would be up to Secretmaster to decide. So far I have been working on putting detail into one of the regions and I imagined it pretty big. I also developed some city maps (made with paintbrush by me so pretty bad) and described what is in the city. But from what I gathered of Secretmaster's first pm there is one pretty big continent, although I don't know about whether there would be a sea.

If I could get a description (semi-detailed), I would be willing to create a map of cities, country, what have you, and elaborate more on it.

Ok then, lets get thing into order.

We all have decided on what we are doing yes? I sent everybody the memo (memo #1). If not, speak up now or forever be lost in confusing babbling...

Anyway, we all come to a concensus about what we are doing for character creation, or whoever wants to partake in it. I've been thinking non convential the whole time. So I don't want this fixed class crap, and if we are doing it, I'd prefer new classes. But that is my opinion, and it doesn't count, the groups does. I cannot stress that point enough.

Secondly, for all you graphic people, you won't be needed until we get things on a nice roll. But feel free to add on to what we have and give ideas out.

And there is one big continent, with islands around it, and maybe we could throw in a few archipelagos... But they are irrevelant to the big cheesy plot.

I think that so that everyone gets a good idea of what is going on with the game's development, it might be a good idea to send everyone what has so far been developed.

I agree, Oh and I didnt get the memo
same here... I agree, and I didn't get the memo either pm it to me or send it to my email, which is listed under my profile.

As for classes... While I do agree that classes should not be very rigid (it helps make chars more interesting that way ), I do believe we should at least have... basic classes, for those who are more new to rping. While it is easy enough for us vets to create a brand new character based off of our experience, I think those less experienced would appreciate it if we had at least a few created already that they can use and modify to their hearts content.

What does everyone else think?

Well, as far as classes go, I think we would do well to keep with some tried and true ones, like fighter, mage, cleric, thief, that kind of thing. If you guys want to customize the classes a bit, that's cool, but if we expect noobies to play, we need to keep things in that area a bit more simple. Didnt Morrowind allow characters to make their own classes? Could we do that?? Also, for original classes, I think we need to flesh out a story line, a bit, first, so that it can work with this world's history. Just my thoughts. Also, I would very much like to see what has been decided, now.

I wasn't thinking of directly classes, but each time you level-up you get a proficincy point which you can put in either magical schools, weapons training, thieving or stuff like that.
