ic> Karthias had been chewing on a bit of meat when he heard a soothing voice singing, helistened in awe as he heard skyes poems, they were utterly brilliant! Presently there was a commotion as the elfs partner spoke to the captain: now what could this be about he thought and unconsciously moved a little closer.

ooc>> those poems were good! Out of interest which book/s were they from (I have read most of the Brian Jaqcues books but I cant remember those poems)

As to how to make colours, you could click the "quote" button on someone who posted with colours, as RoSs_bg2_rox suggested. here's a small tutorial, just in case

<font color="skyblue"> "text" </font> This should show up like "text" . If you want to look up other colors besides "skyblue" (which I advise, because that's the color I use for Skye), check out http://www.htmlgoodies.com/colors.html

"Captain, I realise that the captive is not your responsibility, because she is a stowaway, but she should not have gotten in this condition. Just look at her!" The half-elf waved an agitated arm in the ailing vagabond's direction. "She's very sick, and unless you want to have to deal with a dying creature, I suggest you cut her loose so I can attempt to make her a little better." She paused for breath, and spoke again, more calmly. "You may view me as soft for caring this much about this stowaway, Captain, but I believe one's character is not judged by how one treats their guests, but by how one treats the weak, those under them in stature, and enemies. Obviously you had reason to keep her aboard, because when you found her, she could easily have swam for shore. I don't think you kept the vagabond merely to watch her die." The half-elf stopped, and looked at Curono with an intense gaze, waiting for his answer.

Corinthian

Sitting in his quarter's meditating he was pulled away from his trance like state by the sound of music and singing. Listening closer he couldnt help but get a misty eyed at the tonation of the verse's." Well so much for meditation" Getting up he slipped back on his tunic and went upstairs to investigate what was going on... "CAPTAIN"he heard spoken very turtly as he stepped out onto the deck, and noticed that the Bard was holding the stowaways head up. " Has anyone given her anything to drink he yelled out. Walking over to where the captive was and the bard,"Excuse me, may I have a look " he asked, just as the Captain and the the elf walked up

Coruno was quite for a minute, not use to people talking to him this way. but then agin this isint some one from his crew.
The worst thing was that she was right.
Komo,cut her lose and put her in the stabels give her the best food we have. He looks at the elf
Im sorry about that, ahvent been up on the deck as much as I would hope to be. have not seen how the young girl was doing, now that we have got that out of the way I must tell you I was acctualy hoping she was going to join us on the mission*he looks alitle when he talks about this* se I lost most of the crew the last time we meet the dragon so we need evry man or woman we can get he was just going to continu when his eyes turned green and he fell to the floorm hima was fastly there and they went under deck.

Karthias watched the whole seen, he saw the eyes changing! This made him very unconfortable. He was already unsure of this captain, this just made him uneasy. In all his life of adventuring he had never seen anything like this before. He was busy contemplating what to do when he suddnely ealised he should take a look down below and see what the captain and Hima were doing.

As he was quickly walking towards the door to go below deck he noticed that no one else seemed to have seen what he had seen or else they werent letting on. He went down the hatch and then looked around, the trouble was he couldnt find the captain.

ooc- you should prolly use a different color, Calsiumus. It's difficult to read against the brown background.

ic- Skye noticed the Captain's eyes change color again, and she frowned slightly before turning to the problem at hand. "Help me untie her," she asked Lyulfe, and the two quickly released the stowaway from her bonds. "If you can help in any way, I will be greatly relieved," Skye told Corinthian in a worried voice, as Lyulfe slung the girl over his shoulder.

"I'll put her on my bed," the elf said to Skye, then went below decks, following Hima and Coruno. Skye, concerned, grabbed Corinthian by the hand and pulled him after her in Lyulfe's wake. The two of them arrived to find the vagabond lying on the bottom bunk, with Lyulfe bent over, tucking the sheets in around her.

I think I may be able to help her in one for, I can at least give her some cool water to drink " stepping closer to her he leans low and starts waving his hands over her body and chanting in a low voice, moisture bigins to appear to bead on her skin and clothing cooling her body and easing some of the cracking that the sun has done to her.
Ending his chant, he sat down on the bed and lifted her head up onto his lap, propping her head back a bit to open her mouth he cup's his hand which slowly fills up with water, which he slowly pours into her mouth.Drink up lass, this will replenish you

Mormegil

Mormegil had come up for some fresh air away from his cabin when he saw the commotion around the captive thief. They began to undo her bonds and care for her, as she was now obviously sick and in need of better nourishment. With all the hassle around her and then the captain also seeming to be not much better off, nobody seemed to notice Mormegil's presence behind them all. He quietly slipped back to his cabin and shut the door.

"Damn them all."

OOC>>>Mormegil must be the only person on the ship besides Mistral's character to have not noticed anything strange with the captain or his eyes. Just for you info.
