Alliene sighed and glanced at the sky where Zachana was keeping a watch for danger. Then glanced at her friends,

"If all goes well, we might make it to the the city in less then a week. Maybe," she fiddled with a loose strap of her bikini and muttered about the damn heat. Giving a large stretch, she ran her fingers through her silverish white hair and pulled it into a knot, letting her bangs trail down. It was always fun to make mens eyes pop, she thought as she heard one of them stumble behind her.

Glaring at Alliene, Kaltia muttered, "why aren't I as beautiful as her?" dejectedly, she kicked a stone which bounced off the back of Daemon's boot and thrust her hands in her pockets. Entertaining brief thoughts of anger and torture, she saw Alliene's familiar watching her and realised any action would be impossible. But, still...it galled her that anyone could be so damned beautiful. She saw Daemon stumble as Alliene began to tie up her her hair and muttered at the unfairness of the world.
