I do believe that puff of black smoke could very well be the monster, could be some type of island spirit.

What did you think of the others with a motor boat and guns too? Who would have thunk it.

I'm thinking the motor boat guys are "the others" that jungle woman is always mentioning (although never in detail, and nobody probes her about it, which is kinda unrealistic LOL). I'm thinking maybe this monster, this "security device" might have alerted said "others" that they were leaving the island. Cause jungle woman said the security device protected "the island." So I guess that would mean nobody gets off the island, to escape and tell others about it, etc. Cause remember the show the week before the finale had the monster show up, but it left and went on in another direction, right when they were launching the raft.

No telling how the raft situation will turn out next season. I mean, not sure how far out they had gone, they are going to have to swim back if they can (I'm assuming now the boat people have Walt they will sail away). Maybe the hatch opening will do something though. LOL who knows hehe!

And you gotta wonder about Charlie, if he took that heroin or not LOL. Weird how Sayid just broke open one of those statues to show Charlie it was filled with heroin, did he not get the memo re Charlie's addiction LOL?

Well I have roaming around some other lost forums. There is some very wacked out ideas out there. Like the reference to the numbers. When they were doing hurleys flash back with him trying to get onto the plane. Every number that you seen was a number to do with the lotto numbers. The girls in the airport. There jerseys all had numbers on them and they were the same as the lotto numbers. And when his jeep thingy died the odometer counted down the same as some of the loto numbers. So what is with that. And Kate said that she was connected to the numbers as well. The reward was 23000 for her capture. 23 was a lotto number.

Ok so here is one theroy on the black smoke. And this is not my idea just something I seen out there, I am way to slow to think these things up. But the black smoke is nanobytes. And the only refernce that this could be is that one of the writers for the show. Is a fan of Micheal Crichton. And he wrote a book called Prey and the book as a lot to do with how lost is. The Nanobytes have the abilty to get into your body and control you. So maybe this is why Locke gets to walk? And the nanobytes all bunched together looked like black smoke.

Ok the people on the boat. Notice the Blonde girl could that be Alex the French womens long lost child?

Ok just a few toughts to ponder.

What black smoke do you mean Mack Attack? Not that puff of black that we saw when the monster was about? Because the monster kills. Well it at least killed the pilot. But there was one time it seemed to approach Locke and he somehow came out of it OK, or am I incorrect re that? I hear they are going to rerun it this summer, but it will be at 10:00pm.

Well I think the black smoke can kill when it wants to IE the pilot. But there is more to it I think. I think the black smoke is what the island is. It takes all the shapes you see. Like the polar bear. So confused. [img]smile.gif[/img]

That could be possible Mack Attack, hmmmm. Cause you know, that bear looked kinda fake, like some computer game bear LOL. At the time I just thought it was the show being cheap with the visuals, but now you have me wondering LOL.
