My two cents worth, one of my favourite lines from one of my favourite movies:

I believe this is from the movie 'The Thing' with Kurt Russel. I always like the quote from the same movie, "I don't know what the hell's in there, but it's weird and pissed off whatever it is." I don't know why, but that one always seems to get me.

Right on both counts Xess, right film and a damn good alternative quote.

Carrying on the theme....anybody spotted a theme here yet?

'Can't argue with a confident man', a clue: spoken by a character who was always after a smoke.

Hmm...... I'm thinking this is another 'Star Wars' quote. Is it Princess Leia (sp) telling that to Hans Solo? In 'Empire Strikes Back'?

Its actually Luke saying it to Vader during the Battle of Endor.

Gonna go for Rodney Dangerfield, any chance it's Caddyshack? Long shot...no pun intended.

Campino~ No, sorry.

Strider~ Got the right actor, wrong movie. I forget the name of the actor who played his son in this movie, who is rather embarrassed of his father. If you can't get it after this I'll say what it is because it seems like not too many people watched it. I thought it was hilarious though. I get no respect!

As for everyones quotes that aren't guessed yet..... I don't KNOW and I wish I did!!!

Hmmm, can't quite work that one out... some kind of action film I guess from the line itself... Gargh! No idea specifically!

Here is one from me though:

"I've just seen a world no man should ever have to see!".

Mild clue - if I gave you the actor who said it it would be a massive giveaway.

did anybody answer this? its Being John Malcovich

Campino - Se7en, spoken by Morgan Freeman, very near the end IIRC.

On the basis that i guess on, I give one, how about:

'Front, bow. Back, stern. If ya don't get it right, squirt, I throw your ass out the little round window on the side!'

Tough quote, I think, from a very well known movie.
