He'll be travelling through several countries that have active revolutionary movements and/or criminal organizations which use the Amazon. I would think that he and his crew have as much to worry about from human predators as they do from any other source.

He did not stop because of the boat issue. He is currently on day 9 of the swim, and slightly ahead of schedule. He has a military escort at the moment, due to being in a known narco-trafficking area.
His health is reported as good, but he has some blister issues on his feet, and forehead. The forehead could be from the sun, but his feet? Yet there are none on his hands and cheeks.

I did not say he stopped swiming. I am only saying what was in the web-page. He was running around with a wet suit in a shaddy town.

He is still swimming. Health looks good. My Linux does NOT like the live feed connection. Not sure what that might mean to you all that use the other OS from Redmond, WA.
