This guy will be swimming the Amazon, which I cannot perceive as sane activity. What's better is that we can watch it live! Here's the news story. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/16722240/?GT1=8921 |
I've got too much, time on my hands.... sing along everybody!

I say he makes it one week, absolutely no more than three... that is, if he makes it more than ten minutes.

one week? I like the 10 min or less option. ;)

By strategically planning his swim during the beginning of the high content era, he will have very little impact in the water. Additionally, he will have very little acknowledgment from most carnivores, as they will be well fed, and not need such a large meal, nor give chase to said large meal as not to become a meal themselves. And he will traverse downstream, requiring very little true form swimming, and need only to stay afloat while riding the current.
Felix places his bet on the swimmer. |
One week? 10 Minutes? He's already done the Danube in Europe (1866 miles, 58 days), the Mississippi in the US (2360 miles, 68 days), and the Yangtze in China (2487 miles, 50 days). Why do you think he'll fail in a week? AFA predators, I'd think just the noise from the boats carrying his support people would keep them away.
If he stays healthy, I think he'll make it. |

What does a piranha bring to the table that has not already been considered.
Because they are carnivorous? Is Jason or Freddie as evil in real life? |
