What is the world comeing to? It's full of sick demented people shooting at each other and laughing about it!

But i suppose that's how it is.

Now now, CO, i'm sure not everyone is shooting back when they're being shot at.Some probably just sit there and die.

I know that paint and bullets are different. We play Milsim games to get a kind of feel. But i know its not the same.

The more i think about it, the more i think i might just be in it for the thrills. But if i am then i'd get a hell of a lot more than i expected!

I forgot about emptying the rubbish; that is definately my job.

Cloudy, i said dishes, vacuuming and cooking were gender neutral! my wife does pretty much all the cooking and i do all the dishes - not the best deal at times!

Mack: actually, my wife cna do all those too, and usually does. But that is more to do with my extreme laziness than anything else!

Oh, and Cloudy! Baseboards!!! My wife has been going on about those for ages - but i have no idea what they even are!! and now you! Why is it women can see things that need cleaning, when men cant even see them?? spooky!

Red Worms are Green!

EDIT: DA, if someone was shooting at me i would be doing one of two things 1) shooting back 2) getting the hell out of there. And if you want to join the army for the thrills, take up bungy jumping or something. I mean, full credit to your bravery, but there is a fine line between courage and foolishness (not trying to insult here). I have decided that i am a dedicated coward. and with 23 years experience at staying alive, i think it is a good policy to have.

Just dont go thinking that dying in battle is as glorious as it sounds. there is no dignity in death, especially in war.

Not making a new thread for this but. Here is a cool joke that camee into my work e-mail.

A senior citizen in Florida bought a brand new Corvette convertible. He took off down the road, flooring it to 80 mph and enjoying the wind blowing through what little hair he had left on his head.
"This is great," he thought as he roared up I-75. He pushed the pedal to the metal even more. Then he looked in his rear view mirror and saw a highway patrol trooper behind him, blue lights flashing and siren blaring.

"I can get away from him with no problem" thought the man and he tromped it some more and flew down the road at over 100 mph. Then 110, 120 mph.

Then he thought, "What am I doing? I'm too old for this kind of
thing" He pulled over to the side of the road and waited for the
trooper to catch up with him.
The trooper pulled in behind the Corvette and walked up to the man.
"Sir," he said, looking at his watch. "My shift ends in 10 minutes and today is Friday. If you can
give me a reason why you were speeding that I've never heard before, I'll let you go."
The man looked at the trooper and said, "Years ago my wife ran off with a Florida State Trooper, and I thought you were bringing her back"

"Have a good day, Sir," said the Trooper

Good one Mack!

Captain O... ROTFL... yup we see it and usually want our spouses to fix it... so just to help out your missus... the baseboards are the trim along the area where your floor meets your wall. Yup, that's what they are and now you know (snicker and if you already knew, now it's in print so your wife knows you know!), you can clean 'em!

Oh and while you're at it... you could just come over and do mine too! teehee

DrowArchmage, I agree with what Captain O said on the whole dying isn't glorious if you can avoid it! My family has always had members in the military, so I can say it's a good and noble thing to do if you want to do it, but don't go in thinking it's all glorious and wonderful and nothing will go wrong, because it's just like life anywhere else in that respect!

Why do you want to prove yourself to your family ? Give me one good reason why your family's opinion could influence your own future...

Well, it's just before 7am here on Saturday. Another of work around the house looms ahead of me. I seem to have been doing a lot of that this summer. I must admit I read the the physical stuff though, specially since I sit at a computer all day and talk to my customers.
...think I'll order my usual Saturday morning breakfast...
