Isshin-Ryu Karate, Aikido, Shield Style Kung Fu (cross between Shao-Lin anf Fong Ngan Kung Fu), Bo Jitsu, Kali, Jun Fan Jeet Kune Do (Bruce Lee's lovechild), Wing Chun . Shao Lin is good. Chi Gung is a discipline from there. Others have nearly broken their knuckles trying to punch/kick me. A racing bike crashed into me and I did not notice until the cyclist started wingeing. A cricket bat splintered on impact with me. In 5-a-side footy, a bloke twice my size tried to cannon me over and ended up flat on his back, me not slightly bothered - when an instructor tells you Chi is NOT real, he simply doesn't know it . I have a few other Chi techniques, but that one is the most visual. Shao Lin will teach you this. It also emphasises flexibility (more than I've got) |

Nut Slaps are for newbies that think they're effective.
. Bo Jitsu - use of the Bo Staff (my style includes kicks too) How did I do so many? Well, apart from Bo Jitsu I never stuck with a style for more than a few years. . Wing Chun and Aikido I trained in simultaneously. I stopped doing them, when I started mixing styles up in the classes (not good) . Jun Fan and Kali were by the same instructor (about 3 classes a week). Kali is the Filipino style (escrema sticks, daggers, axes, etc, and unarmed) - think of when Xena uses here little sticks |

LORD SHIELD!
Hi there! I was thinking to compare a few thought about martial Arts since you seem to have trained alot of different styles, which one do you like the most, fell is the most effective and best allround training? I liked Krav Maga alot, but it is very tough and you can be lucky to escape the training with a broken noose, bruises all over your body and alot of minor injuries that comes from training. The most efective techniques have been founf (by me) in krav too. The brake and release techniques are easy to use and very effective. The style has been compared to Ultimate Fighting NHB and Shootfighting but it i not a competitive art. I have sofar tried karate, Tae Kwon Do, Aikido, Ninjutso. The fault with these (IMHO) have been their unflexibility or screwed competitive rules that has inpact on training.. I haven´t tried any Kung-Fu yet, but some of my friends like it and I would very much like to hear your opinion! ------------------ ![]() WOLF WINS EVERY FIGHT BUT ONE, AND IN THAT ONE, HE DIES |
