Just curious.
Well, a higher post count implies that you have been here longer and have contributed more to the Ironworks community.

I can remember when I first started posting that I wanted to get rid of the noob and Waterdeep noob avatars as quickly as possible - they were just an irritating reminder how 'new' I was to everyone else.

When there is a will, there is a way to reach your desired goal. By hook or by crook. You will have thousands of posts.

Oh no it isn't. I haven't heard of a single person who actually likes the beholder avatar. I'm certain that that avatar is the leading cause of spam amongst older members...

Two words.

Cloudy's Cafe.

Ziroc turns a blind eye to the countless posts in there of "Morning all, how's everyone today?". As a bonus, you can also make things up about your life, so that people will like you even without your sexy avatar. And you don't even have to read the thread. Just make sure that you post at least one reply to something someone has said at any point within the cafe for each "useless" post, and noone will ever be any the wiser.

*ahem*

This information is founded upon studies of other posters in the cafe, of the Species Notus Callumus.

Oh yeah... and joke threads are a god send. You can either rip them off a website or e-mail yourself, and win a reputation as a funny guy, or just answer them all with "Haha", "Lol", "TahT wAZ TEh LAAMEORZ JoO LAMORZ!!!!11" or etc. Or do the same (just not with the same thread... people start getting suspicious.)

The same applies to serious discussions. "That was awful." "Serves him right" "This is why I live in Canada" etc. And then, after letting the thread build u- a bit more, you can simply paraphrase other members. Don't worry about supporting different sides, that is easily covered by exploding at someone else and calling them a bigot and/or someone who hates you.

And remember, if you start a thread yourself, (I don't know what, make up a problem with your computer or something, be original!) then no one will suspect a thing about you replying to people who have posted in that thread, despite the lack of content.

And you had all thought I hadn't realised, hadn't you?

Erm... not that you should do ANY of the above... that was intended only as a joke...

Yea, that's a cool one. Same with Dracolisk. Unfortunately, I stormed by those in a week or two, not allowing me to savor the greatness.

Yeah, but if you try to "savor it," you end up not posting, and seeing your coolness less. Oh well, such is life... or posting at IW, anyways.
