I prefer a controller than a mouse and keyboard in shooters. Easier to aim with a mouse yes (in FPS at least) but to me I don't get as immersed in a game unless I have a nice small controller in my hands. And in IMO I think Halo is more fun on Xbox than on PC. Especially on multiplayer. Going against or with your friends in the same room is a great feeling. And the multiplayer on PC is unbalanced because people use those damn banshee's all the time. Shooters have to wow me these days. And since all are basically the same. "Kill everything you see" graphics become very important. Hell, I am playing Masters of Orion right now, and Secret of the Silver Blades (old goldbox game that I LOVE) and it's got CGA graphics man. I KNOW graphics are not everything [img]graemlins/hehe.gif[/img] But I compare the consoles to PC via hardware.

I DO love consoles for hack and slash games like Baldurs Gate: DA, and Champions of Norrath. Fun to sit down with friends and kill baddies. For TRUE RPG's, I play PC games. I also prefer consoles for driving games. It is more immersive.

For only $50 and Halo, I would think it is well worth the wait! I got the deal that Jerry described, xbox with KoTOR for about $130.

I normally don't like shooters, but Halo is just so awesome. I recently went to a a friend's house and we played 4 player Halo for about 3 hours straight (minus the pizza breaks ) Ah, good times.

I love the fine art of TRASH TALK, and you might be able to trash talk over a game with no graphics but when you have the graphics then you can be like "man, if you just didn't dive when my reciever jumped to catch the ball you mighta stopped me from running that touchdown play. So, you wanna play again, DIVEY!!!!"

My friend you have misunderstood me. Those who wish to play Halo and Halo 2 will play the holy games. Nobody can resist their pull once it gets a foothold in their mind. They either buy it for PC or XBOX . So basically there are two types of people:

Those who have an X and Halo 1 and/or 2.
[i]These are in the true Enlightend. However those who have an Xbox but do not play Halo 1 or 2 are not considered fully Enlightened. (I was unfortunately for almost a year wasn't fully Enlightend. And those PC gamers that buy Halo 1 or 2 are considered not fully Enlightend.)

The other

Those who reject the X and Halo 1 or 2. And are not Enlightend at all. But there is always some potential for Enlightment in the non Enlightend if they show an interest in Halo 1 or 2.
