'Well,' he said, still chuckling quietly to himself 'I don't know about work in th' rest o' the town, but if the militia are as lazy as they say you could try there aye?' he joked at Beaumanoir.
'But seriously lad, I'm looking fer people to work here, and although you'll have to do srvong or sumthin, it ain't no back breaking labour.'

Seph, the disgruntled militia man/waiter, idly drums his fingers on the counter while waiting for some customers. At last, two large men came through the door and sat at a table on the far side. Seph eagerly walked over them and took their orders. "Just a coupla meads fer us both," said the pair, each placing daggers on the table. Scared, Seph replied, "Right away, sirs." Making sure that a siletto was securely strapped to the underside of his wrist ready to be drawn at the drop of a hat, Seph went back to the counter to get the men their orders.

GALADRIA (As she rounds the woods at the edge of town, her horse shies. Seeing something in the bushes, she dismounts and looks, and is startled to find a dead body. She carefully examines the corpse, and finds it to be a duegar, some days dead, The only wound is a stab wound in the throat, the knife long gone. In the pockets, she finds a corner of a piece of paper, with a few lines of writing.
Aura: Semiwaifoid
Eye type 4
Scars: tr
The rest is lost. She rides back to town to report her findings. Entering the tavern trying to find Binky, she happens upon the two roughs making Sephy nervous.

"Hello madame, I don't believe we've met before," Seph says, extending his hand to Galadria. "I'm Seph, and quite new here." While waiting for the militiawoman to return the greeting, he loads two tankards up on a trey and hoists it in his left hand, keeping the bottom of his sleeve open.

I do not think that it could be a resident, but there have been so many people moving in, lately, I may have missed someone." (eyes the two roughws) "Having any trouble?"
